History and objectives
The Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City Tourism in Australia Roadshow is an annual initiative organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Department and the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Australia. This event, which began in 2023, aims to promote Ho Chi Minh City as a tourist destination to Australian professionals and the general public.
Following the success of the 2023 edition in Sydney and Melbourne, the next event in 2024 will also take place in these two cities in May. The objective remains unchanged: to promote Ho Chi Minh City as a dynamic and varied tourist destination, while encouraging business exchanges between Vietnamese and Australian tourism players.
The aim of the Vietnam Roadshow - Ho Chi Minh City Tourism in Australia 2024 is to :

Presentation
The 2024 edition of the Roadshow will take place this year in Sydney, New South Wales, from May 13 to 14. The event will focus on two different aspects:
Promotion for the general public (B2C): this section is aimed specifically at Australian travelers and offers an opportunity to discover Ho Chi Minh City. It will feature more than 25 exhibition stands showcasing the city's tourism products and services, special offers and airline tickets. A cultural area will also be set up, featuring traditional Vietnamese music performances, craft workshops and food stalls.
Professional promotion (B2B): aimed at tourism experts in Australia (travel agencies, tour operators...), this section will include a workshop on tourism in Ho Chi Minh City, B2B meetings to establish partnerships and exchanges between Australian and Vietnamese professionals in the sector.
